The buffer field

Description

This is the buffer field in its resting state. When the exo skeleton is in monitoring mode it sits down on the tips of its tenticles. The buffer field conforms to its shape. The thing is though, the size an number of amassed processor power to any buffer field is strictly limited by the government to not be smarter than a human child as the buffer field stands alone. This is become if the buffer field were to become self aware and become detatched from the command of the master, then the buffer field might choose to become an independent entity which would be very dangerous since it can in theory make more of itself and grow exponentially in size and intellect. There would be no limit to what an entity with such power would be capable of. There is also a built in self destruct to the buffer field's software so it will simply disintegrate if it wanders too far from its master.

It can form a tube in front of the head so that the exoskeleton can hear and see, but primarily, two large ears form over the ears, and the environment fills with a low density sound conducting medium (when in a low atmospheric pressure environment like an asteroid or airless moon) so that it can have a clear picture of the terrain.

In its entirety, this is the closest to a perfect tactical warfare physical form anything in the universe can take. It is brutally intelligent, fast, efficient, aware, and sensetive. Nothing in our modern world could ever combat against a weapon like this. Fortunately, the suits are under the control of well trained pure humans (no cybernetic implants or attachments whatsoever) with some slight genetic alterations to make the neurological sensors more precise and higher resolution. It is built in such a way that the suit can never override the will of its wearer (like the tentacles doctor octavius had in the movie spider-man).

Imagine five of these together, or ten, or a hundred, or a thousand. Such an armada would be unstopable, unless you had a computer that was smarter than the networked amassed intellgence of all the wearers and their suits to hack into them, but that's unlikely...

yes for something so powerful I guess it would be good to have control and restrictions.
